The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the launching of the NTC Website. The purpose of this website is to improve communication between the NTC Board and the membership as well as between individual members. This is your Website, so tell us what you think. Please take a few minutes to step through each of the tabs and sub-tabs. There is a member’s only tab that contains import chapter information/business. To obtain a password please contact Terry Reininger at scholarships@northtexasquad-a.org.

We are pleased to announce that the chapter is sponsoring a number of scholarships this year. They include one $4,000.00 and four $1,000.00 scholarships. The AAAA Scholarship foundation reviewed over three hundred very qualified applicants. Official notifications of the students selected will take place over the next couple of days. It is not too early to start thinking about next year. Please consider making a special contribution to either the Chapter or National Scholarship Fund. Corporate as well as individual contributions are welcome.

In May of this year the Chapter conducted an election. A slate of new officers has been approved by the membership. Their names are posted on the “About Us” tab under Board. The plan is to formally present the new Board to the members at our professional meeting in September. A specific date for the event has not been established. We are working with several potential guest speakers to coordinate schedules.

I would like to thank everyone for their support during my term as president. I will continue to serve the NTC as the VP for Scholarships.
